What makes PTC School of Massage different from other schools?

We’re a locally owned, hands-on program that prioritizes professional growth, strong ethics, and real-world preparation. Our small class sizes and supportive staff make for a personalized learning experience.

Does my tuition include a massage table?

No, for 2 reasons.

  1. We want to keep tuition cost modest and our focus is your licensure and we have everything that you need for your training in the classroom.
  2. Everyone has different massage goals that require different table needs, so for us it does not seem productive to include the same standard table to every student with an up charged tuition.
Is massage safe for everyone?

While massage is generally safe, certain medical conditions may require special consideration or make massage inappropriate. Please inform us of any health issues or allergies before your session.

Are tips allowed at the student clinic?

No. Gratuities are not accepted per Georgia Massage Therapy Rule 345-6-.01. The best way to support our students is by completing the post-session feedback survey.

What are your clinic policies for cancellations and no-shows?

We require 24 hours’ notice for cancellations or rescheduling. No-shows will be charged the full session fee. Missed appointments impact our students’ ability to meet clinical requirements.

Can I choose my student therapist at the clinic?

Clients cannot select their therapist based on preference or gender. All students are trained to provide professional, safe, and effective care.

How would you explain the public clinic enviroment?

Student clinics are held in the classroom with other student therapists and other clients while under the supervision of their licensed instructor

How do I prepare for my student clinic massage?

These student therapists are training in professionalism, public safety, and effective care. They will direct you to undress to your comfort level and that is exactly what it means to be. You will have complete privacy behind a closed curtain to disrobe and get on the massage table before your session begins.

What kind of massage is offered?

While our students are training in various techniques and methods of massage, they are also at different stages of the program, but they give each client a 50-minute Swedish full body session.
