Certified Massage Therapist Program – 6-Month Curriculum
The Peachtree City School of Massage (PTCSOM) offers a comprehensive 6-month, 625-hour massage therapy program designed to prepare students for the Georgia State Licensing Exam. In Georgia, massage therapists must complete training from an approved school. Our program provides you with the skills.
Our program exceeds this requirement, providing you with the skills, knowledge, and hands-on experience needed to succeed. After passing the state exam, graduates can apply for a Georgia massage therapy license, which includes completing a background check. Once approved, you’ll officially become a Licensed Massage Therapist (LMT) in Georgia.
This course is ideal for anyone exploring massage therapy as a professional career. As an entry-level program, it offers a strong foundation in both the theory and practice of massage. Students will learn proper techniques, professional ethics, client care, and industry standards. Massage therapy is a hands-on profession, so active participation is required—you will both give and receive massages throughout the program.
